To provide opportunity and support for homeless, recovering people (mental affliction and/or physical addiction), and other marginalized or needy groups in Canada; we accomplish this via donated potted plants and cut flowers.

Bouquet Of Hope

“The Bouquet of Hope Art Exhibit – 2011″ is being displayed from June 13th to June 17th, 2011 at the Roundhouse Community Center with our annual Evening of Art Gala being held on Friday, June 17th, 2011. Please drop us a line if you have any questions after reading below.

Attention all Budding BC K-12 and University/College Artists!

How would you like to have one of your art pieces auctioned off @ a bona fide art gallery? Plus know your artwork on display and its sale is going toward helping the homeless and marginalized people in your community?

The Bouquet of Hope Art Exhibit and Evening Gala – 2011:

  • The Canadian Flowers for Food Society – Bouquet of Hope – Evening of Art Gala and Exhibit is an event for all Metro Vancouver families bringing communities together through the expression of art recognizing the plight of those living in poverty and marginalized groups.
  • The Bouquet of Hope Art Gala collects art work from Vancouver students (K-12, University and College) and displays their art at a local community center for family and friends to view.
  • The Bouquet of Hope Art Gala also lend local artists an opportunity and a venue to share their art. The exhibit is also a chance for the local artists to generate revenue from their art work.
  • The Canadian Flowers for Food Society – Bouquet of Hope – Evening of Art Gala and Exhibit begins with a semi-casual (first) Evening of Art Gala leading into an on-line streaming video auctioning of the art work.
  • Parents and friends of participating students are encouraged to join the Evening of Art Gala in person, or participate that evening on-line during the live auction. Parents and friends are encouraged to bid for their child or friend’s art work in person or on-line.
  • In addition to inspiring young artistic talents, the Bouquet of Hope encourages young people and children to take a closer look at the social problems in their communities and city while thinking on the issues (introduced by their teachers and CFFFS stats) within these problems – and even possible solutions.
