Our Distinction

I take my drum (Djembe) to Stanley Park as often as the mind and body will allow. Usually when I play someone will follow the beat and come by to say 'Hello'.
One rainy afternoon a young woman approached me and we started talking. Soon into the conversation I discovered she was actually living in Stanley Park. I told her about the Flowers for Food program, but she was more interested in our upcoming art gala. As it turns out Samantha is an artist - and very good one at that! In fact, I have met several artists living on the streets and we intend to display their artwork as they share their life experiences. Please share her story and art with your friends.
