Volunteering with the Canadian Flowers for Food Society means changing someone else’s life for the better. You are helping to lift up another person up from a very low and negative experience. This is why we believe giving of yourself (volunteering your time) to help others in need is even more valued than money (although we never turn down donations).
No doubt when volunteering at Flowers for Food you will gain valuable life skills in many areas, including discovering more about yourself, but what else would you like to get from volunteering aside from the obvious in being able to say, ‘I did Good’?
Could it be organizational, management, or public speaking skills? We can provide all of these and more. Regardless, we will endeavor to place you somewhere within our society where you will find what you are looking for.
Please review below to see if there is a volunteer position at the Canadian Flowers for Food Society that is right for you - at this time. And if not, check us out later as things do change. All positions require about 30 min. to 1 hour per week. We ask all volunteers and clients to adhere to our Code of Ethics (PDF).
